As a Partner in the Private Wealth and Tax Department, Mrs. Sofia has been a valuable part of our team and for here respected tax firm since 2015. With 20 years of experience, including nearly a decade as a tax consultant at a globally respected tax firm in Lisbon, Dublin, and Madrid, Mrs. Sofia brings specific expertise in tax disputes, tax planning, contingency assessments, and opportunities diagnostics for both national and international clients.

Currently, Sofia provides legal tax advice and planning, tax due diligence, tax litigation, Non-Habitual-Resident (NHR) Portuguese tax regime applications, and assistance with individual, indirect, and real estate taxes for numerous private and corporate clients, both national and international.

Sofia also serves as a tax arbitrator at the Administrative and Tax Arbitration Court of Lisbon (CAAD) and is an active member of esteemed organizations such as the International Bar Association (IBA), International Fiscal Association (IFA), and IR Global.
