Mr. Janmejay is Fellow member (FCS) of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) as well as Graduate in Commerce from Devi Ahilya University, Indore, Madhya Pradesh and LLB (Law) from CCS University Meerut (Uttar Pradesh). He has 12 years plus, rich experience in different areas of corporate and commercial laws, FEMA practice, Legal Drafting and Corporate litigation before NCLT all over India, Audits, Taxation- direct and indirect tax matter & practices, including 5 years of experience as a Compliance officer and Company Secretary of a Listed Company based at New Delhi.

He is also the member and advisors of various corporates and NGOs for their designing monitoring and Need and Impact assessments under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). He is also member of NCLT & NCLAT Bar Council of India, registered as Certified CSR Professional, Certified ESG Professional, Certified BHR Professional (Business and Human rights-BHR), holder of various diploma and certificates in professional domain such as IBC, Social Audit from ICSI, Lifetime Registered member of Independent Directors Data Bank with IICA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs- MCA) to eligible for becoming Independent Director in any Company. His core area of practice is in Business setup advisory in domestic and international domain, CSR Advisory and corporate litigation practices before National Company Law Tribunals and Appellate Tribunal at various parts of the country.

He is also a registered GSTP practicing in GST laws. He is also a designated Secretarial auditor of various listed and unlisted entities in India. He is also active member of various forums, NGO’s and chambers/councils of India and internationally including Doing Business internationally (DBi) International, Amsterdam, UKNFS (The UK Nepal Friendship Society), London, United Kingdom (UK) and One Community Hampshire and Dorset, OCHD, United Kingdom (UK), Ireland and Nepal.

He is also the founder member of RASHA Welfare Foundation for spreading legal awareness in society by seminars, webinar, workshops, advocacy, providing free legal aids and support as well as serving the community by heart with the vision towards sustainable corporate legal culture of India. He also has experience in different areas of practice including drafting and vetting of various agreements such as Joint Venture, Investment, Shareholders and Investors agreements etc., Incorporation of a Company in India or abroad, business and factory setup in India and abroad, Foreign Direct Investment in India, Russia, Dubai and UK, advisory and opinion on Laws applicable on Manufacturing industry, IT, Pharma, Hospitality, Metal sectors, Food, FMCG, Education and Sports etc., His practice area covers Secretarial audit and compliances, Due Diligence of companies, CSR Advisory and opinion services, liaison with various Governments and Non-Government authorities and agencies such as Registrar of Companies (ROC), Regional Director (RD), Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA)- India and UK Company Law Office, NCLT/NCLAT, Reserve Bank of India, SEBI, Income Tax and GST Department, Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Drugs Control Department/CDSCO, FSSAI, NSIC, RNI and other areas under various laws.

As a Certified CSR Professional, he assists in preparation of CSR Projects, their funding, and implementation, Impact Assessments, helping NGOs to develop CSR policies, takes up CSR Audits of Indian Corporates, and thereby ensures governance and compliance including providing guidance and research-based advisory and opinion on the subject matter of social laws as well as corporate laws. He is currently advising almost 75 NGO’s working in different sectors and providing effective solutions for the funding, new project, and sustainability of the CSR initiatives within the organization. In CSR domain almost 30 plus CSR completed successfully and mentored all client NGOs.

He is a visiting faculty at Institute of Company Secretaries of India, various university in India and UK, CBSE Schools, Social and Voluntary organisation on various topics like Corporate Social Responsibility, POSH, International Laws, Financial Literacy and advocacy of various current issues and laws in India, ESG- Environmental, Social and Governance and applicability in India, Social Audits, Social Stock Exchange, POSH, National Education Policy and its internationalisation at Home and other current topics in business, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) interconnected Laws and studies. He is part of research team of various organisations for their sustainable development and sustainable co-operation, where social sector and corporate sector will work at parity and sustainability.

He is the proprietor of Janmejay Singh Rajput and Associates (JSRA); Company Secretaries, a renowned Peer reviewed Firm from ICSI as practicing Company Secretary.
