Mr. Julio is the founder of Colón Consultores, a professional services firm established more than 20 years ago, with nationwide coverage and belonging to the DBI network. The firm has specialists in different disciplines. It assists its clients in the following areas: Foreign Companies, Auditing, Accounting, Taxes, Transfer Pricing and Legal Services. It belongs to the worldwide network of professional DBI firms present in more than 36 countries based in the Netherlands.

He is a Public Accountant and Auditor. He advises his clients with a focus on complying with Guatemalan legislation. He specializes in tax planning, financial management, and documentation of the corporate aspects of business transactions.

He has participated in various tax, due diligence and acquisitions audit processes. He has provided advice to national and foreign companies from different sectors, such as supply chain, oil, food, construction, health, chemicals, commerce, and non-profit organizations.

Julio Colon completed a Master’s Degree in Financial Management at the University of San Carlos de Guatemala and is studying the International IFRS Certification in International Financial Reporting Standards at ICAEW The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, London, England. He also has a diploma in Family Business from TEC de Monterrey Mexico.

He is a member of the IGCPA Guatemalan Institute of Public Accountants and Auditors, and He is invited to participate in open television speaking accounting, legal and entrepreneurship topics.
