Mr. Manolis is managing partner at Manolis Eglezos and Associates Law Firm in Piraeus, Greece. He has more than thirty years of experience in Commercial, Corporate, Maritime Law and a broad knowledge of GDPR since its introduction and is a certified DPO.

He advises groups and companies, adopting a commercial perspective on the provision of legal services, aiming at a combination of immediate response and sound opinion. He focuses on credit and securities, corporate (including M&A’s), tourism, shipping, industry sector, and GDPR compliance, both consulting and litigating. His approach goes beyond the simple legal point of view, as it also considers market parameters as well as social factors, a combination that leads to an efficient and optimum result.

He holds an LLM and MSc degree, writes legal (and non-legal) articles and occasionally lectures on issues that fall within his specialization. He speaks Greek, English, and Spanish. He likes to travel and interact with other cultures from around the world. His out-of-office activities include martial arts and organic cultivations of avocado and olive oil in Crete, while raising and interacting with his four sons is perhaps the greatest challenge he faces.
